Hello! My name is Lauren and I am so happy you have stopped by My Passion Journey! This is blog is a place to explore and share the things that make me feel excited about life. You can expect to find anything from the most practical life tips to my favorite products and shopping finds, travel, healthy living or anything that happens to make me feel inspired that day. More than that I hope that you find a place where you feel encouraged and empowered to pursue your passions and dreams- and to pass along your own inspiration as well.

A bit about my journey thus far-

Where I am: Currently residing in a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona with my amazingly intelligent and handsome husband, Andrew. I’m learning to live far, far outside my comfort zone and to embrace my ever-changing life.

Where I came from: Born in Los Angeles, California and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interpersonal Communication in Chicago then returned to St. Louis and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (because you can never have too many bachelor’s degrees).

Where I am going: Into the great unknown- hopefully to be marked by World-Wide Travel, Creativity and Innovation, Business Development and Social Entrepreneurship, and more fun than a barrel of monkeys.

A few more fun facts-

I love my family (I have a mom, a dad, and the coolest little brother on the planet).
I owe the existence of this blog to my husband (he’s such an amazing source of encouragement and support- technical and emotional alike).
I’m not outdoorsy (not even a little bit).
I dream of having as much wisdom as my mom and of owning businesses like my dad (and I dream of having a home that is as warm and welcoming as they made our home growing up).

Some of my very favorite things include the sound of thunderstorms, coloring with Crayola crayons, sipping a warm beverage on a cold night, laughing until my belly aches, daydreaming, birthday cake, wearing stripes, and being with people I love.
And finally, I love getting to know new people and I love how technology makes it so much easier to connect with people across great distances- so please feel free to introduce yourself. I’d love to meet you and learn about your journey too!
